Typing Aloud
Lookie here—if it were “all about OIIILLLL” we’d have invaded Canada and/or Mexico. They have as much oil reserves and they have damned little military. And they’re muuuuch closer which means decreased shipping costs and increased profit margins. [mwuuuhahahaha] ‘Sides, Canadians hardly ever behead folks—even those they dislike.
How many votes do you hafta lose before you get the idea that we’re not bugging out of Iraq today? After which you introduce more NON-BINDING resolutions? Will you people quit punching the clown and deal with some of the actual issues in front of US? You’re looking dim.
And what is the big idea of bugging out on the Iraqi people at this stage, leaving them holding the bag, anyway? Do ya realize you’re actually standing up in public and saying “well—we lost 2,500 of our citizens [as compared to tens of thousands of Iraqi citizens] so we better quit and run away, cuz American citizens are so much more important than those little brown people over there.” You do realize they can hear you, doncha?
And if there is a lesson to be learned from Viet Nam, Misssster Kerry, isn’t it more about the 1.5 - 3 million people who were slaughtered by the enemy after we prematurely pulled out of a giant military win? And the fact that the Vietnamese government is still one of the most repressive in the world? And that the leaders of the Enemy in Viet Nam actually were convinced that they had already lost [according to them] [just like Zarqawi said in his notes] right when we decided to run away?
Oh, and I’m still awaiting an acknowledgment—much less *snerk* an apology *snerk*—on the “No WMDs” thing. Hell - I’d settle for one from The President.
