Rev up your Offended Bone -- it's our turn!
or would that be called the ‘Huffy Bone’?
House Speaker Dennis Hastert, R-Ill., in a letter to the Architect of the Capitol, recommended that the annual Capitol Holiday Tree, as it has been called the past several years, be renamed the Capitol Christmas Tree.
Somebody ‘splain it to me: what holiday other than Christmas uses a decorated tree as one of its principle symbols? Who’s it being shared with?!?!?
So [show of hands] who [Christian or non] is offended by people being unable to hear the name of their religion?
How well would it go over to quash the name of Islam? [see: CAIR]
How well did it go when people were offended by hearing the name of Judaism? [see: Kristalnacht]
