Yeah. I see you trying. I don’t see you succeeding much.
“We call upon all Muslims to confront this hostility with greater hostility,..." “We will take revenge for the honour of our daughters and sisters against France and against its interests by every means at our disposal.” ... “the grudge the Western crusaders have against Islam."
Provocation for this outbreak of hostility peace?
Earlier this month, President Nicolas Sarkozy said the burka, which covers the whole face, was not welcome in the strictly secular country.
You can tell me all freakin’ day that this get-up “liberates women from the gaze of the hunter.” Personally, I find that creating a Civilization that raises its sons—and daughters—to be in control of themselves and have a sane, healthy approach to the differences between the sexes actually leads to Liberty.
Yeah—the Brittany Spears phenomenon is bad. Whipping women for showing an ankle is barbaric. Holding women responsible for the feelings, behaviors and choices of men is enslaving them—and men.
