Not Movin' to Jefferson... Yet
"change your shoes—change your life!"
The Headmistress mentioned that there is a bit of contentiousness going on about the water ‘round ‘bout the Klamath Basin.
This is one of the many reasons Gale Norton oughta be hanged. Repeatedly. Along with anyone and everyone of the minions who carried out that damfool decision to cut off the life-blood of the farmers in this area—over a biologically baseless contention about a goddam suckerfish! Throw some o’ the damfish in a pond and get on with your life!
Think about it; it was the same for Norton to cut off the farmers’ water as it would be for the Feds to cut off electricity to someone’s office and take the ‘puters, cut off diesel for someone’s trucks and take the trucks, remove all the stock in someone’s store and cut off deliveries. The Feds ain’t a supposta be able to do that.
It’s an old saying: This is The West where whiskey’s for drinkin’ and water’s for fighting over. I’d like to add, “and Moonbats are for target practice.”
Which is one of the many reasons the State of Jefferson is such an attractive idea.
Oh, and the ‘net is alive and well in Klamath Falls—even in the motels. Here in Alturas, it’s **wireless** Good war driving territory.
