From the File: Things I Don't Understand
phat phile it is
So what’s up with That One continuing to solicit donations from his minions obsessionaries tuna supporters? Isn’t he on the official dole, now he’s been selected annoy-nted 53’d elected?
Look how his poor followers sycophants pigeons history makers have to apologize for their feeeelings:
This is not easy to write, because I consider the election of Barack Obama to be one of the most inspiring political and social developments of my lifetime. I truly mean no disrespect when I say: Stop asking for money.
I mean, really - they can’t even risk offending That One by requesting he take his sticky paws out of their pockets now he’s won.
Whadda predickament.
Then there’s logyk like this to inspire their continued dusting debasement bleeding voluntary generosity.
...Plouffe again with an e-mail I find particularly riling. “Will you support the Obama-Biden transition,” he wrote on Nov. 21, “with a donation of $250 or more?”
Money from “grass-roots supporters,” he claims, will prevent the “secretive undertakings” of previous presidential transitions.
“Secretive undertakings?” Like what - or is that the “secretive” part? Or is he flat-out telling US he just plain can not resist the siren song of special interest money?
Does The O need a new O-farce One jet plane? Portable styrofoam columns? New suits? New ideas? Whaaa?
Taxpayers are already funding the Obama transition to the tune of $6.3 million. Apparently that’s not enough…
...the Presidential Transitions Effectiveness Act, ... calls for the disclosure of transition contributors. The act stipulates that transition money is not considered a political donation ...
Yeesh—wait til he has the power of taxation with his new, lackey Congress. Buried coffee cans ain’t gonna be safe enuff.
There’s a term for the unwholesome delight in new-found riches—nouveau riche is close enuff.
