The emails show that the Department of Energy and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) coordinated their response to a damning Spanish report on “green jobs” with wind industry lobbyists and the Center for American Progress (the progressive think tank founded by John Podesta and funded by George Soros).
The EPA has been lost for decades, under any administration. The DoE generally has not been quite as bad, though that is rather like saying a drunk driver is not really as bad as a suicide bomber.
This is at least in part because of their missions. EPA is dedicated to protecting “the environment” from humans - who are not considered part of “environment” to be protected - and naturally attracts extremists. The DoE mission is to supprt energy supply for we humans, so it is a bit harder for anti-people zealots to drive the bus. But the EPA can be pro-active in generating red tape restricting us, while the DoE cannot do things such as cutting red tape to allow, say, power plant construction.Posted by on 03/09/10 at 07:56 AM
