Yo! Babzzzz -- wake the hell up!

I wrote the Senator from the Moonbat Republic, Babs "gimme your dam $$$" Boxer on 7.5 about HR 4323, a bill designed to give the Department of Defense the ability to have Rapid Acquisition Authority (RAA). , It still seems to be languishing in Senator Warner's Senate Armed Forces Committee awaiting the Senator's convenience to read the damthing. While soldiers are doing their job with, shall we say, less than ideal levels of supplies. Dear Babz finally wrote me back to inform me that the bill was still under consideration in the House [it passed there June 14] and should it ever make it out, she would "try to keep my wishes in mind." I need a shower, now -- I been slimed. Please write your Senate-critter and give him/her/it a jab to pass on to the Committee. Our Armed Forces need our support. [yes, this is what it means to "support the troops." Send them supplies -- not "hurry up and wait" forms.] More on this from Blackfive

  1. Ah!  You got a TSC letter—a thanks, status, consideration letter.  I’ve written hundreds of them over the years as a Congressional aide.

Thanks—“Thank you for writing Senator X about Y.  Blah blah blah.

Status—“This bill/measure/issue is currently under consideration by the House (or Senate) blah blah blah.

Consideration—“You may be assured that I will keep your views on this important matter under consideration when this bill comes before me for a vote.”

Simple to write, and you HAVEN’T SAID A DAMN THING!  Total information content: ZERO!

Er...have I peeled back the curtain just a bit tooooo far now?  Whoops!
