What's the Japanese word for "mensch?"
TOKYO, April 12 (UPI) -- Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi assured visiting U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney Monday he would not give in to terrorist demands and was not considering the withdrawal of Japan's Self Defense Forces from Iraq.
In recent years we have been concerned mainly with the Japanese facility for business. The image of the Japanese Businessman, riding the bullet train, singing company songs, has become our main impression of the people. Best we not forget, the Japanese culture has many years of Warrior culture as well. btw, "duh"
BAGHDAD (Reuters) When it comes to kidnapping, the nationalities which had least to do with the Iraq war seem to be most at risk in the still-troubled country. ...Asians from nations which stood on the sidelines of combat make up most of the more than a score of foreigners reported abducted in recent days. The seizure of seven Chinese nationals is the latest incident that has some Asian countries questioning their roles in helping rebuild Iraq.
That would be the point, now, wouldn't it? Hnnnnn?
I’m not trying to turn the meaning of this very serious post on its side. But.
Doesn’t he look like an Asian Richard Gere? ;)
