WANTED

better minds than mine

It smells funny:  It’s too slick. It doesn’t answer enough questions. The details are foggy. It’s very PR/nutroots oriented [with Facebook, MySpace, bloggy “badges”, etc and the exhortation to “Push” the plan] and a section called “Comuuuuuunity” with ‘forums’ filled with questions and 300 people responding with “I don’t know.” wtf

With all that effort, *I* can’t tell if—engineering/physics-wise—it’s a good idea or not.  Halp?

  1. Wind sucks.  It doesn’t blow all the time at any particular place.  Sometimes it blows way too hard. 

    If we want to reduce our dependence on foreign oil, we need to pull our heads out of the sand [this IS a family blog] and drill for our OWN oil, like every other country in the world.  China drills near Cuba, why don’t we drill here?
