She kept referring to “this bill,” [hell, they all do] when there is one major one in the House [of which she is not a member] and an amalgam of sundry bills in the Senate. None, as yet, from the White House… Confused? Yeah, me too.
Responding to a question on the fury demonstrated at numerous town halls, [Gov. Ed Rendell] asserted that “many of these people are birthers.” ...“The birthers are absolutely nuts,” ...
Rendell appealed to “the vast majority of Americans who are still good, honest, decent people ... to step up and say no to these crazies.”
“They’ve got to make it clear that we, the American majority, don’t want any part of people who are destructive and want to destroy this country for their own reasons,”

“When he says that I’m tramping on constitutional rights, I have to disagree with him,” said the senator, who switched from the Republican Party to the Democratic Party this year. “I’m encouraging constitutional rights. I’m encouraging constitutional rights by coming to Lebanon [Pa.] to talk to my constituents. I could be somewhere else. I don’t get [any] extra pay. I don’t have any requirement to be here.”
