AN ACT TO PROHIBIT CERTAIN FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS FROM SERVING FOOD TO ANY PERSON WHO IS OBESE, BASED ON CRITERIA PRESCRIBED BY THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH; TO DIRECT THE DEPARTMENT TO PREPARE WRITTEN MATERIALS THAT DESCRIBE AND EXPLAIN THE CRITERIA FOR DETERMINING WHETHER A PERSON IS OBESE AND TO PROVIDE THOSE MATERIALS TO THE FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS; TO DIRECT THE DEPARTMENT TO MONITOR THE FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS FOR COMPLIANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ACT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

Let’s just stand back and think this through a little.
A bartender would be in trouble for serving another Long Island Iced Tea to a guy who appeared to be under the affluence of incahol, so doesn’t it logically follow that a restaurant would be in a similar situation?
On the other hand, it would be a little inconvenient for the restaurateurs: they’d have to have a scale at the front door, along with a body-mass index machine.
People could go in and say “Oh, waiter! Table for 200 pounds, please.”
