ToDaZed Appeal
He’p Me ,Messr/Mdmes Wizard!
I’ve been going to a lot [ a lot] of public hearings on General Plan and land use issues of late. [wonder why they tried to jam ‘em all in during harvest and calving season… must be a coinkydink...] Consequently, I’ve been hearing a lot [ a lotta lot] of Moonbat rantings on how it’s my job to keep my place pristine for the benefit of not only any random jaggoff who can manage to scare up a car and drive by but the supposed—or even imagined—existence of the tube-lipped roller frog and the wily wild foaming meadow muffin. Needless to say there are many repitititions in my notes of “I see dumb people...”

[it becomes progressively *cough* clearer the longer ya listen that Global Worming is a political movement having nada to do with, yanno, like, facts ‘n’ stuff. yeesh.]
Nevertheless, I do have a point here, somewhere. [yes, it is “so much more interesting when there is one."]
On my way over to yet another session of being talked down to by our elected officials and paid minions I spotted a bumpersticker that said;
*BAM* it struck me—WE need that sticker. I didn’t recognize the symbol on their sticker—and it’s irrelephant, anyway. What we need is a symbol that depicts, in one, easily-grasped clear graphic, our culture of independent, freedom-loving, self-respecting Americans.
Y’all help me work out a concise symbol that sez all that and I’ll even volunteer—when things here cool down—to go thru the Cafe Press [or whoever] rigamarole to get ‘em made for the Porch Meunkees. And award the First One to the Graphics Genius/Symbologist who comes up with the Perfect Symbol.

Posted by on 08/30/07 at 08:11 AMThat lovely bumper sticker is a condensation of all things liberal and feely-touchy. Respect? Who could argue with that? Respect is good. Culture? Who could argue with that? Culture is good. (And certainly, to the foggy-brained liberals - whom that young man in the photo can see quite clearly - everybody’s culture is just as good as anybody else’s.) So by combining two completely separate, completely vague concepts into one wonderfully simple catchphrase, they’ve made something nobody can argue with, and something that means absolutely nothing.
I’ve been working on a bumber sticker that I can apply to certain other person’s cars. It reads
Another Moron
for Peace
at Any PriceMaybe “Peace” could be in big bold letters, and the rest in fine print.
