The Watchers Council Has Spoken
Better Late Than Never Version [or Check that you're not still in draft mode, dear...] Spambots: eat bits and die!! [Thanx, Watcher!] Now that *they're* out of the way, Our winners are: *wild applause* The Angry Left by Free Will, and Face to Face With Evil by The Conspiracy to Keep You Poor and Stupid . Then, run on by the Watcher Of Weasels and check out all of this week's solid entries. A tough choice week. I must give special mention and recommendation to my faves this week: Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them by Balloon Juice, about the shifting sands of "truth" and, for those who have been awaiting Quicksilver, by Neil Stephenson, Roots of the Modern World by The Speculist. Extremely interesting linkage, too.
