The Iron, it is Red, White and Blue

and has “really toned” arms

Take a sip of this, hold your nose and read on:

Michelle Obama Shines Her Spotlight on Military Families

Supporting military families, she has said, is an issue “close to her heart."...

The tour at Fort Bragg, her office said, is part of her campaign as first lady to meet military spouses and learn about support services that are available to military families.

Obama has said in the past weeks that more national attention must be paid to the plight of military families, and turned their needs into one of the signature issues on which she has focused her attention. ...

She continued: “See, military families have done their duty, and we as a grateful nation must do ours. We must do everything in our power to honor them by supporting them; not just by word but by deed."

Your “deed” is “doodoo.”

  1. What she says is absolutely right.  Now let’s see what they do.

Military families have a rough time.  Husband is half a world away, for a year or so at a time, and for more than one tour of duty.

Wife has to raise the kids, run the household, do the million things that wives have to do, plus the million other things that military wives have to do.

I have to wonder how that issue came to be “close to her heart”, when neither she nor Mr Obama have had any noticeable contact with the military.
