The Council Has Spoken ! !
The Winning Entries for the Watchers Council this week are: *drumroll* Money Is NOT the Answer ! ! by AlphaPatriot, and Michael Moore's Call to Arms by Brain Terminal. I must give a special recommendation to this post from a filmmaker of the ...er, righter persuasion. He confronted Moore, in person on the street, about the question of the preponderance of left-leaning documentary film makers vis a vie the limitations on campaign funds. The concern he addressed is that "documentary films" are also used as political or campaign tools while avoiding the restrictions of the campaign spending laws. Moore's response, and responsiveness, is startling. This videoed conversation with Moore is an excellent precursor to the films I am anticipating that Evan Coyne Maloney will make. Maloney is one to keep an eye on.
