That's just ... odd

translation from Moonbat unavailable

Background:  Prop 85 would prohibit abortions for California teens until 48 hours after their parents have been notified.

Prop 90 prohibits private property from being taken for another’s private use.  Restricts takings to ‘public use,’ not ‘public benefit.’

So, this ad with kids creepily parroting the BDS cries is how the MoveOn.org / Soros crowd urges us to vote against those propositions.

Kinda makes one wonder just how stuuuupid they think we are.

  1. It’s not very surprising.  A typical Leftist tactic is to tell us that black is white, that a vote for “UP” will surely lead us “DOWN”.

They’re doing much the same thing with Prop 87 (tax California oil companies).  Their argument: help reduce our dependence on foreign oil.  By reducing our supply.  OK, now I get it.

Another tactic they use is to cite a specific example, and make us believe that that applies to the entire case.  “What about the young girl who’s afraid her drunken father will beat her mercilessly if he finds out she wants an abortion?”

More and more I think Heinlein was right - in “Starship Troopers”, you got to be a citizen - and a voter - only after a term of military service.

Ambrose Bierce defined a voter as “a man who makes a fool of himself and a wreck of his country”.

I really believe that the vast majority of voters don’t pick up the election book until Nov 5.  (In fact, I’m looking for mine even now.)
