Thanks CA
boned and stoned
Despite the ignorance of the regular stoners, Prop 19 FAILed thus continuing the current status where anyone with “back pain” to a sprained eyelash can get their “medical” card and smoke to their hearts content. No “close scrutiny” by Eric Holder, no lawsuits, no hassle. Happy? Stoned? Oh, hell yeah.
------------------
Say "I smell mustard!" “Hello” to our new governor:
This is how it went geographically.

-----------------
CA also voted to “punish the legisclownz” by reducing the needed votes to pass the budget from 2/3 to a simple majority. [The prop included a clause wherein legisclowns won’t get their salary for any day the budget is overdue.] That’s a swell idea. Way to miss the point, simpletons. Welcome to 20% state income tax!

Notice a pattern in the geographic breakdown?
-----------------
Here’s some more work of the ignoratti. Prop 23, which would have delayed the start of the “Global Warming Final Solutions” Law until CA actually has an economy which it could kill.
It attracted a lot—a lot—of foreign money on the anti- side, including $500,000 from Claire Perry, MP [yes - from Britainistan]. They ran two [2] full half-hour ads and many 30 second ads claiming that all the actual anti-pollution laws would be repealed and showing terrifying footage of refineries belching steam which, apparently, scared the hell out of the primitives who don’t know the difference voters.

Yeah… pattern again. [they reversed the colors, Yes = kill it :: No = keep it] Gives one an idea about the most efficient division of the state, no?
------------------
Here’s a bright spot for the future: Redistricting by the citizens, not the legisclownz won:

See that little grey spot? Right there by the bay? That’s San Francisco.
And the last-ditch attempt to repeal Redistricting FAILed:

See that little yellow spot? Right there by the bay? Yep: San Francisco.
So IF the “Citizen Committee” isn’t too stacked with meat-puppets, and IF they manage to redraw the district lines to reflect logical, geographic and economic lines instead of clumping together CircleD registrations, we might have half a chance to overcome those who vote only on the basis of knee-jerk approval of the CircleD Brand.
With an 8% statewide approval rating of the Legiclownz, the voterz of CA chose to return control to the same hands that got us here in the first place. Then the celebrated by continuing to hit themselves in the head with a hammer.
Scroomed.

But the weather is lovely . . .
Now if the “big one” doesn’t get us before we have a chance for equitable redistricting, and then if we can survive another couple of election cycles, we could possibly reap a few scale-back benefits from having more responsive representation, with the end result we might eventually have a chance to make it. What could go wrong? Oh, yeah. Forgot about moonbeam and twinkle-toes - you know, the one who lives up there in the yellow spotted city?
Tell me again why it is the official Republican Party bigwigs continue to write off the Hispanic vote? Oh, yeah. Cause most of them are Mexicans. I forgot.
