Taxes confuse me -- help?
Ok -- I'm a little unclear about this tax thing Kerry is proposing. A tax credit means that X amount of income will not be taxed, or that X amount of taxes owed are no longer owed? And what if someone actually owes an amount less than the amount of the tax credit? Do they get that amount in a check? [yes, don't worry, I do have a very good CPA] I am clear that, in true class-warfare/income re-distribution
