"Swifties" are responding to Kerry

I just got forwarded the email from a friend who, though a normally sensible soul, doesn't follow politics and is in social services so has fallen for the BusHitler line...I STILL WANT TO KNOW HOW HE GOT THREE PURPLE HEARTS WITHOUT GOING TO A MILITARY HOSPITAL, AND HOW HE GOT ALL OF THOSE MEDALS AND RIBBONS AND ONLY SPENT 4 MONTHS IN VIETNAM. I SERVED IN VIETNAM, AND WAS WITH THE ONLY UNIT IN S VIETNAM CONDUCTING DAILY COMBAT OPERATIONS, THAT WAS LISTED AS A COMBAT SERVICE SUPPORT UNIT. THIS CAN BE VERIFIED BY CONTACTING LT GENERAL JOE HEISER, RETIRED. GLENN L. JAYROE MAJOR ISA RETIRED--9/67---9/68 AWARDED THE BRONZE STAR, WITHOUT POLITICAL HELP. HOW IS IT THAT KERRY ISN’T HAVING TO ANSWER TO ANY OF THIS? WHY ISN’T THE MEDIA THROWING THESE QUESTIONS AT HIM?
It continues with photos and personal blurbs from 18 [eighteen] men asking:
We resent very deeply the false war crimes charges he made coming back from Vietnam in 1971 and repeated in the book 'Tour of Duty.'.... We think that he knew he was lying when he made the charges, and we think that they're unsupportable. ...It is a matter of his judgment, truthfulness, reliability, loyalty and trust...He was a 'loose cannon.' In an abbreviated tour of four months and 12 days, and with his specious medals secure, Lt.(jg) Kerry bugged out ... During Lt.(jg) Kerry's tour, he was under my command for two or three specific operations, before his rapid exit....Kerry would be described as devious, self-absorbing, manipulative, disdain for authority, disruptive, but the most common phrase that you'd hear is 'requires constant supervision.'... ...If Senator Kerry actually witnessed or participated in these atrocities or, as he described them, 'war crimes,' he was obligated to report them. That he did not until later when it suited his political purposes strikes me as opportunism of the worst kind. ... ...When John Kerry returned to the country, he was sworn in front of Congress. And then he told my family -- my parents, my sister, my brother, my neighbors -- he told everyone I knew and everyone I'd ever know that I and my comrades had committed unspeakable atrocities.... ...Tragically, some veterans, scorned by the antiwar movement and their allies, retreated to a life of despair and suicide. Two of my crewmates were among them. For that there is no forgiveness. ... ... In 1971, '72, for almost 18 months, he stood before the television audiences and claimed that the 500,000 men and women in Vietnam, and in combat, were all villains -- there were no heroes. In 2004, one hero from the Vietnam War has appeared, running for President of the United States and Commander-in-Chief. It just galls one to think about it." ... ...It is a fact that in the entire Vietnam War we did not lose one major battle. We lost the war at home ... and at home, John Kerry was the Field General.... ...he used Swift boat sailors to proclaim his antiwar statements after the war, and now he uses the same Swift boat sailors to support his claims of being a war hero. He cannot have it both ways, and we are here to ask for full disclosure of the proof of his claims....

I wish it were possible to make the television and print news industries carry this post of yours as “equal time” for all the one-sided coverage they have which ignores John Kerry’s lies and deception while implying deception on the President’s part that never happened.
Specifically, Cmdr. Grant Hibbard’s version of Kerry’s first “combat wound” needs to be read and read over again by the American voters until they realize that Kerry may well have gotten a Purple Heart and home earlier than other men ih his situation by means of fraud.
I wish the US Department of the Navy would investigate this story, and if it proves true, reactivate Senator Kerry as a Lieutenant JG, try him for fraud and lying to a superior officer, and for any war crimes or atrocities he claims to have committed, and toss him UNDER THE BRIG.
It’s long past time we stopped letting the national Democratic Party get away with nominating crooks and liars, then lying and rigging elections to get them into office.
Hugh Hewitt’s right - we need to work to totally humiliate Kerry and Edwards, and skunk them in the election, because “if it’s not close, they can’t cheat.”
