Sen. Chuck Schumer says Al-Zahar’s comments don’t carry any weight because Hamas is a terrorist organization. Schumer hasn’t taken a stand on the mosque.
The mosque is a project of the Cordoba Initiative, an advocacy group that promotes improved relations between Islam and the West. It didn’t respond to Al-Zahar’s comments.
Dhimmitude is “improved relations” —in their eyes.

This index, which involves a partnership with the Gallup Organization, polls people from 44 Muslim-majority nations (and members of the Organization of Islamic Conference) on how well their nations comply in practice with this Islamic legal benchmark of an Islamic State.
Fairly simple, fairly clear, fairly obvious, overt and accessible, given a coupla minutes gloogling. Wonder why the Political Elite and The Ruling Class don’t seem to grasp it…
I’m pushing for a name for this mosque - if & when it gets built:
The “spit in your face mosque”.
The one in Germany - that they finally closed down - was called the “9/11 mosque”, because that’s where the monster Mohammed Atta prayed.
