Smoking Gun?
Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein had an operational relationship from the early 1990s to 2003 that involved training in explosives and weapons of mass destruction, logistical support for terrorist attacks and Iraqi financial support for al-Qa'ida – perhaps even for September 11 lead hijacker Mohammed Atta – according to a top-secret US government memorandum. The memo, dated October 27, 2003, was sent from the US Undersecretary of Defence for Policy, Douglas Feith, to senators Pat Roberts and Jay Rockefeller, who head the powerful Senate Intelligence Committee. It was written in response to a request from the committee as part of its investigation into pre-war intelligence claims made by the Bush administration. ...Much of the evidence is detailed, conclusive and corroborated by multiple sources.
Interesting . . . Many more details in the article.
It didn’t matter a hill of beans if AlQ and Sodamn Insane were in cahoots or not. The Crips and the Bloods hate each other and if we don’t deal with those assholes our cities will remain battlegrounds. Does the grandmother or preschooler shot in the crossfire give a rat’s ass if the bullet came from the Crip or the Blood?
It’s immateriel. The only reason to study the interlocking relationship, which I believe exists, is to figure out to bring the whole bunch down, AlQ, Hezbollah, the Baathists, Islamic Jihad and Anser al Islam and every other one of those outfits. Some are allied, some are in competition, they all want us dead.Posted by on 11/18/03 at 05:10 PMI am in complete agreement with your major point. I’m just enjoying watching the “Bush Lied” bunch go into paroxysms trying to ignore yet more facts. I’m twisted that way…
