Sleezy Weasels Disgusted

toss Dodd out of the club

Watch the “leadership” monkey run out in front of the mob and “lead.”

Senator Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) on Monday night floated the idea of taxing American International Group ...bonus recipients so the government could recoup some or all of the $450 million the company is paying to employees in its financial products unit.

Yeah.  Big hero.  Didn’t get there first, tho.  Maybe it woulda looked funny.

While the Senate was constructing the $787 billion stimulus last month, Dodd added an executive-compensation restriction to the bill. That amendment provides an “exception for contractually obligated bonuses agreed on before Feb. 11, 2009”—which exempts the very AIG bonuses Dodd and others are now seeking to tax.

Is he brain damaged?  Or does he think we are?

He may have damaged his own “value” on the open market in the process.  Let’s hope.

Sen. Dodd was AIG’s largest single recipient of campaign donations during the 2008 election cycle with $103,100, according to opensecrets.org.

Wow.  That’s a lot of moola.  A pile of berries.  A really big pie.  Wonder who’s the second-largest recipient…

Well, that money ought be returned taxed at 100%, too, doncha think?

  1. I’m a big fan of the guillotine so lets start with Dodd and then just line up all the other crooks for their turn, with the final drop of the blade at 1600.
