Skippy Suddenly Remembers; He Can Fly ! ! !
They do it this way all the time. Every fence. [see pic at top of blog or open extended entry] There are about 10 of his turkey-buddies on the other side of the fence, eating quietly and wandering off. This brainiac and his two buds run back and forth, back and forth by the fence bleeping piteously. Having carefully watched the rest fly over not 2 seconds before!! Then one of the brain-buddies suddenly remembers he can fly and does. The other two watch him enviously, and run back and forth, back and forth. Until another one suddenly discovers this ability to fly! Wow! Having watched his two buddies fly over the fence, the last turkey runs back and forth, back and forth, back and forth -- until the coyote comes. Life in The Country™ -- Evolution in Action.
