According to the 2000 US Census [#1 pdf] , approximately 32.8 million people, 12% of the total US population, one in eight people, is Hispanic. Of that group, 66% is Mexican, 14.5% Central/south American, 9% Puerto Rican [count included Puerto Rico] 6% "other," and 4% Cuban. Assuming that each and every one of these people like it -- which is a laaaarge assumption, indeed -- I wonder if Bush's His-pandering will piss off more or less than that amount of people. More thought needed, here. UPDATE: Also wondering what -- if anything -- this is in trade for in the upcoming talks with Fox, et al?
