Pulling a Cronkite?
nattering nabobs of negativity, Shaddap!
What *is* the dealio with the MSM *ptui* coverage of the Shuttle Launch? So much hand-wringing and moaning. Have we lost that much confidence in America’s capability—for that is what the shuttle is about. [The Space Program, such as it is, the living embodiment of American technical might and competence.]
Are we that easily beaten down and discouraged from continuing to work at difficult tasks? Or is this simply encouragement to lose more faith in ourselves?
“You Bastards!”
To the MSM the shuttle is a giant phallus projecting frightful aerial-imperialism - remember these people are fear-based and reactive, so they are jealous and shamed into inadequacy because they don’t get a ride but afraid of the ride too, so they make a big hissy-fit - if they can’t have it nobody can.

Posted by Claire on 07/12/05 at 10:31 AMWho cares what the MSM thinks about it. I just wanna ride on that sucker!
Posted by on 07/12/05 at 06:02 PMNo one writes like you do..it’s great to read your analyses. The *ptui* is my favorite word of the week.
You definitely have your work cut out for you, though. The MSM—I call them and their ilk the Mandarins after those elite Chinese with the long fingernails—are deaf, dumb and blind to anyone outside their charmed circle...creeps.

‘Mandarins’—perfect!
