Porch Consolation and Regroup Thread

Meunkees ‘n’ Hammahs

Since the Front Porch is out of commission, here’s the Side Porch.

My thoughts on this ...suauspicious night:

Do not grieve, PMs—we have just been shown what is our work to
come.  Let’s tighten our resolve, re-ground in our Values and roll up
our sleeves.

Cuz all those who thot The Big O is gonna fix all their ills are,
real shortly, gonna be PISSED.

[heh...]

Let’s come together and get crackin’!

  1. Don’t give the fucktards on the left the satisfaction of seeing you all act like a bunch of hysterical schoolgirls. They’re the ones who can’t take defeat. We can take our lumps, get up, and keep fighting. We should be Happy Warriors. whose proper response to this is mockery, good humor, and hard work. We lost and elction, but we’re still right, and they’re still wrong.

Anyway, it’s time to cowboy up, and get ready for the next go round.

  4. I am going to have to get some sleep. Big meeting and long drive ahead of me in the morning. Your puppy still doing well? She looks so sweet!

  5. Always remember folks...the good guy doesn’t always win.

We must gather our breath, rethink, and regroup.

  6. “I remember you
You’re the one who made my dreams come true a few kisses ago
    I remember you
You’re the one who said I love you too didn’t you know
I remember too a distant bell and stars that fell like rain out of the blue
When my life is through and the angels ask me to recall the thrill of them all
Then I will tell them I remember you
    I remember too a distant bell…

  7. We’re alive!  ALIVE!!!!

Obama ain’t gonna change us because he CAN’T.  Those supporters of his are in for a bumpy ride.

I hope Obama can survive the lack of sleep because he’s not going to be getting ANY!

  8. Regroup.... okay, you mean at the range, right? Tighter groups? I can do that.

  9. That half the people in the country fell for the Snake-Oil Salesmen (besides being “inconceivable"), shows that the people who are supposed to be talking for us (the GOP) have truly fallen down on the job.  We’re still communicating the way our grandparents did, while the Wide-Eyed Young Lefties are all a-Twitter, Facebooking, Texting, doing Mashups and Meetups and all that Web 2.0 stuff.

The Party’s not only going to have to regroup, but figure out how to do damage control.  Obama promised to do a lot of things, like the Civilian Defense Force, as large and well-funded as the Army; like bankrupting the coal companies, &c.  Let’s keep an eye on things as see how many of these he keeps.  If he keeps enough of them, we might get a new bunch of Change a lot earlier than we might otherwise.
