Ow ...and eek!

I stepped on a meat-eating yellow jacket about a week ago. Ow. Right on my porch - the bastard. He was after the dog phood. Chloraseptic sure works, though. Yes, that green throat spray. Only helps in the first 6 hours or so, but still, it helps. Now they've moved into a ground nest right next to the mailboxes. [No bills for me--too dangerous] I'll let ya know if the foamy stuff from the hardware store works... I hope it's not gonna be one of *those* years. I remember as a kid watching as these meat-eating wasps reduced a picnic ham to sawdust in minutes.

  1. The evil thing about yellow jackets is that they can sting repeatedly unlike bees and wasps who die after they sting you.

I’m glad to know about the Chlorasceptic, though.
