Overstep?

lessee if ∏eh ∅ne gets hiz way, anyway

FBI Director Robert Mueller said...Gitmo detainees ... could radicalize others, even if held in U.S. high-security prisons. And he said if any detainees with terror training are ultimately ordered released, then it would present a challenge to the FBI to keep close tabs on them, either with physical surveillance or wiretaps.

..."In gang activity around the country, using it as an analogy, there are individuals in our prisons today who operate their gangs from inside the walls of prison. So while there may not be the opportunity to escape, there may still be the risk."

I wonder how those guards at the supermaxs feel about gettin’ hit upside the head with a #4 Cocktail… Wonder what their unions would say?

The Senate doesn’t like the idea—well, most of ‘em.

Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein ... [despite to spite] more than half of Americans polled in surveys indicate they oppose moving the detainees to the United States.

..."The individuals held at Guantanamo pose no greater threat to our security than these individuals convicted of these crimes who are currently held in prison in the United States and are no danger to our neighbors or our communities,”

..."Yes, we have maximum security prisons in California eminently capable of holding these people as well, and from which people—trust me—do not escape.”

..."I believe that American justice is what makes this country strong in the eyes of the world. American justice is what people believe separates the United States from other countries. And American justice has to be applied to everyone, because if it isn’t, we then become hypocrites in the eyes of the world."

If American Justice—meaning “equality before The Law”—is what separates the US from other countries, then quit supporting ∏eh W∅n and his inequality policies.  Cuz you’re looking like a big fat ChiCom bribe-takin’ hypocrite if ya don’t.

I suggest you go down to meet these fellas, first, Lady DiFi.  Don’t just have some staffer read their jackets—go and have a nice conversation with the folks who’ve been watching over these beasts and barbarians.  Take a rep from the Prison Guards’ Union with ya and see what he has to say about his members’ willingness to put up with the white glove treatment your “equal” justice has required for those barbarians so far.

Interesting ‘thought exercise’ of the Day:  If one of those barbarians were to escape in the COTUS, what kind of Alinskyesque/Emanuellian/Axelrodian “opportunity” would that be?
