oooooo.... shiny....
Look! A Moose!!!
While we’re supposed to be looking over here [manufactured complete with hand-gauged “right-wing” outrage factor], what’s really happening is over there:
House lawmakers are getting closer to a vote on a sweeping energy bill that would cap greenhouse gases, with a vote possible on Friday,
Call and write today.
"Under the guise of reducing carbon emissions, Democrats are poised to force anyone who drives a car, buys an American-made product, or flips on a light switch to pay a national energy tax,” wrote House Republican Leader John Boehner
Yeah. And that’s only the beginning of it. And for No Discernible Benefit. To Anyone.
...except Algore.
U.S. House Ag Committee Chairman Collin Peterson and authors of the Waxman-Markey cap-and-trade bill have reached an agreement that would allow farmers and ranchers to participate in a market-based carbon offset program. According to Peterson, the agreement also addresses concerns about indirect land-use provisions that target U.S. crop producers and exempts agriculture from the definition of a capped sector. ...Details of the agriculture agreement are not yet available.
Great. Now I can get rid of all those pesky [yet delicious] cows and plant me some inedible but potentially lucrative carbon credits....
Sheesh, isn’t this glow bull warming off-shoot dead yet?? I thought there was an ever shrinking number of congress-critters and or senators who were actually going to vote “yea” on this piece of fecal matter. Still, your point is valid, we need to “remind” the putzes (and putz-ettes) on the Potomac that this bit of foolishness needs to die a quick death in chambers.

Project Vote Smart is one of the places you can get contact info for your [so-called] “representatives”.
