Ok. We'll let this one stay

but just this one

Don Surber describes himself as “Proud member of the MSM.” ....  Well.  To each his own.

On his blog *cough*, he has posted his column foir this week’s Daily Mail

JOHN Kerry has joined John Murtha and other Democrats in saying he erred in voting for the liberation of Iraq.

“It is essential to acknowledge that the war itself was a mistake. . . . It was wrong, and I was wrong to vote for that Iraqi war resolution,” Kerry told a Democratic Party gathering in Washington this week.

If the junior senator from Massachusetts truly believes that his judgment was so clouded that he sent thousands of American men and women to their deaths needlessly, then he should do the honorable thing and resign from Congress.

and it just gets better from there.

  1. Kerry is just a follower, but Murtha has the courage to stand up to the thugs in the administration and question them.  Unfortunately, they have sent the attack the dogs on Murtha and are trying to destroy his distinguished record of service to our country.  Also, these personal attacks come from people that have never served.

  2. Oh horse hockey, kid.

A] Kerry was at this sedition stuff looong before Murtha ever twigged that it would garner him the MSM attention he craves.  Like 35 years before.

B] I don’t care if he was a second Audie Murphy [look it up] what someone did in the war does NOT give them carte blanche to be incorrect in their assessments forevermore.  It also does not give them permission to turn like a craven coward and excrete all over men he swore to defend with his life all those years ago. [see Semper Fi]

It’s clear from your statement, “personal attacks come from people that have never served” that you may have never even met a Marine, much less served with or as one.  In this country under this Constitution the civilian citizenry is in charge of the military for reasons you would have learned if you had paid attention in your history of Civilizations class.  If only “people who had served” were allowed to make decisions about the defense of our nation, most of Congress would have to step down.  And this would no longer be a Constitutional Republic but a military dictatorship—see how that works?

So shaddap siddown and learn a little something before ya go popping off in someone else’s home, m’kay?
