Noo "Stats"
beware!
Let’s keep an eye on where/when we see this quoted. Maybe we can avoid The No Pressure Button. *quakes in boots*
Climate change is already responsible for 300,000 deaths a year and is affecting 300m people, according to the first comprehensive study of the human impact of global warming. ...The report comes from former UN secretary general Kofi Annan’s thinktank, the Global Humanitarian Forum.
...Calculations for the report are based on data provided by the World Bank, the World Health organisation, the UN, the Potsdam Insitute For Climate Impact Research, and others, including leading insurance companies and Oxfam. However, the authors accept that the estimates are uncertain and could be higher or lower.
...It projects that increasingly severe heatwaves, floods, storms and forest fires will be responsible for as many as 500,000 deaths a year by 2030, making it the greatest humanitarian challenge the world faces.
As we all know, no one evar died from heatwaves, floods, storms and forest fires before the advent of the SUV or the Jacquard loom. Offering exactly ZERO evidence of anthropogenesis, Kofi’s little “thinktank” goes on to threaten “Civil unrest ... mass starvation, mass sickness and mass migration.”
Annan blamed politicans for the current impasse in the negotiations and widespread ignorance in many countries. “Weak leadership, as evident today, is alarming. If leaders cannot assume responsibility they will fail humanity. Agreement is in the interests of every human being."
“Agreement with meeeeee is in the interests of every human being,” you say? hm… Where have I heard such talk before....
I was chilled after watching this expression of hatred.
This is what the Left considers reasonable discourse.

You will be assimilated. Or eliminated. Or something.
On the odd chance you’ve missed it, here’s a link to one of the lovely educational films (i.e., propaganda) they’re doing in the UK:
It’s all over the web, but this the first one I found.
“... will be responsible for as many as 500,000 deaths a year by 2030...”
On the other hand, aren’t they telling us that the really big problem is overpopulation? I do wish they’d make up their minds.
