Exhibit A

Exhibit B

Virtually every major news agency in the world has reported without verification that between 15 and 18 Afghanis were killed in the riots. ...Not a single name of even one victim has been released. No details of the circumstances of the riots were released from any official sources – either U.S. or Afghan. [emph mine e-C]

Exhibit C

JERUSALEM – Muslim protests throughout the Middle East regarding a now-retracted Newsweek report that claimed U.S. Army interrogators at Guantanamo Bay had flushed a Quran down the toilet are being organized by anti-Western jihadists and were planned several months ago with the magazine article serving as a convenient trigger, a senior Israeli security source told WND.

He warned that if not quelled, the gatherings can turn into violent mass anti-American revolts.

So, naturally Deep Throat is back in the headlines.

1. First off, those that were so willing tobelieve the ‘Koran flushed down the toilet’ BS, should try flushing any book down a toilet.  Then they should post how much the plumber cost.

   I suspect you can expect more on the “Deep Throat” story, since this was the big heyday of the MSM.  I wonder what the conspiracy theorists and tin foil hat wearers will do now, since “Deep Thoat” was not Kissinger or Bush 41?

   I am going to do a trackback to a piece I just posted which is pertinent to the all this nonsense over abuses, torture, etc.

3. The Deep Thoat story goes big because it puts the MSM back into the spotlight - it’s self-worship and positive-spin, the whole look-at-us-we-got-Nixon thing.  They celebrate losing Vietnam every chance they get.
