Following the linkage from Rand, I found: Spacecraft [and much more] Who drew my attention to a couple of points made by Victor Davis Hanson: the September 11 attacks cost = $1.1 trillion. Defeating the Taliban, Hussein and rebuilding Iraq cost = $200 billion. and: Why and how did France loose 30 times more of its citizens to a heat wave in one month than America has lost soldiers in heavy battle in two years? I didn’t see an email for you, so hopefully you’ll read this comment. Your Category links each have an extra “ target=” tag in the URL so that they don’t work. I don’t know what might have caused it, but thought you’d like to know.
The Country in Northern California is certainly an inspirational place to be. I have fond memories of many miles of bicycling, motorcycling, hiking, and car trips in NoCal.
