Miller Brewing Company does not support illegal immigration

Oh, I see.  So the $30,000 you donated for a planning convention, materials and newspaper ads publicizing a march the demands of which include legalization for undocumented immigrants and a moratorium on raids and deportations [ie. ceasing to enforce the laws of this country] was .... uh… Ok—I don’t see.

or any other unlawful act. We do support a public policy discussion that will lead to a clear path to legal naturalization for people who meet the requirements for U.S. citizenship.

One of the first requirements being that folks do not break the law?

We also oppose any legislation that would unfairly and unjustly seek to constrain immigration.

Howz about any immigration which unfairly and unjustly constrains the laws of this country?

Miller was founded 151 years ago by a

LEGAL

German immigrant, Frederick Miller. And today, we are part of an international company with employees from around the world.

whom I also hope are LEGAL, in whatever respective country they work.

We support the free movement of people, labor, goods and services in the global economy with appropriate protections for the rights of individuals and families, the security of nations, and the diversity that
contributes to a rich and productive society.

Weasel Award of the Week.  you must be so proud.

Miller is active in helping immigrants learn how to become legally naturalized citizens of the U.S., through programs like the Miller Lite Immigration Forum in Texas and support for a recent immigration convention in Chicago. We have a long history of proudly supporting many national and local Latino organizations throughout the U.S.

Is one of them the Soros-funded La Raza?

While Miller has certainly supported the efforts of Latino community groups in Chicago to be heard on this important public policy issue, we are not an official sponsor of the march scheduled to take place this weekend in Chicago.

Wow.  $30,000 to not sponsor it?  What did the real sponsors pay?  ...er, give?

We are not sponsoring this march and we did not authorize the use of our trademarks in associaton with this event. We do support reform of immigration law but we do not support illegal immigration.

I’m guessing Frederick Miller, who immigrated at the same time as my great grandparents, Busch, and many other good Germans who became proud Americans, would like to beat you about the head and shoulders with History until you come to your senses.  An increased market is not worth endangering this country.

We appreciate your interest.

I hope you will appreciate my continued lack of patronage, along with my family and friends.
