Living In Teh Shadows Shadows shadows
where drugs are cheap and Life is cheaper
I see why regular people are flowing across the US Border. And I don’t blame them. I really do wonder if this is the reason the Gubbmint has left the borders open [instead of the old saw about “Rethuglicans need cheap woooorkers"] Having a pressure cooker on one’s Border would be ...problematic.
Trouble is, the more regular, decent people who leave, the less pressure there is to control such Mad Max behavior.
...The elderly are killed. Young women are raped. And able-bodied men are given hammers, machetes and sticks and forced to fight to the death.
...In the vicinity of the Mexican city of San Fernando, nearly 200 bodies were unearthed from pits, and authorities said most appeared to have died of blunt force head trauma.

I see a reality show here. Does that make me evil?

That’s not much of a surprise, when our government has been letting AK-47s flow freely into Mexico. Their plan was, let’s let drug dealers buy guns here, and take them South - that way we can track them and arrest the Bad Guys.
What could possibly go wrong?
No matter. We’re putting our efforts where the real problem lies:
Border Rules May Alter Life on Canada-Vermont Line
There are two towns on the Canadian border: Derby Line, VT, and Stanstead, Quebec. The town library is right on the border.
“The U.S. Border Patrol now wants to restrict access along those back streets. Under the proposed plan, cars would be banned in the area. And even pedestrians might have to pass through a customs barrier.
Someone going in the front door of Derby Line’s Haskell Free Library and Opera House would be, as expected, standing in Derby Line, Vt. But upon crossing the building to check out a book, they would instead find themselves in Stanstead, Canada.”
Here’s an article with a photo, inside the library, showing the line on the floor marking the US/Canada boundary:
I remember, a long time ago, there was a house built on a school district boundary line. One kid had to go to school A, because his bedroom was on one side of the line, and kid B had to go to the other.
The only limitless thing on Earth is the lengths to which the stupidity of government reaches.
P.S: Hey! Where you been?
