Hours before Sen. Barack Obama was scheduled to arrive in Jerusalem, a Palestinian construction worker went on a rampage outside the hotel where he is scheduled to stay.
“We understand he was shot by a civilian and by some border police having gone on a rampage in a front-end loader - what most people would call a bulldozer..." “...he zigzagged down the street, smashing into cars.”
...the attack had happened in the centre of Jerusalem, about 200 yards from the King David Hotel…
It took place as Israeli president Shimon Peres hosted Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas at Mr Peres’ official residence less than half a mile away.
