When the opposition—by whichever of their names they travel, Liberal, Progressive, Greenie—wants to make a move, the first thing he does is grab the language and change the definitions. Suddenly we’re not talking about what we thought we were talking about anymore.

Crap. I agree with you that there are many words that no longer mean what they used to only a few short years ago, but at 1 a.m., my synapses aren’t cooperating.
