bad day in The Country™
I’m sittin’ in my usual am spot looking up what in hell is going on with a local town using eminent domain to steal property from a local family for a ‘Taj Mahal’ style new hospital and private medical offices. Not only is it outside the zoning plan for the city and the county—there has been much more appropriate property offered [voluntary sale] for the purpose right in town.
Meanwhile—on the raadio—I hear some El Punko call to say “This was our land first. We will fight you. There will be war.”
Maybe I’ll just clean out my closets today....
...’Til I lose the urge to ...well, nevermind.
