Do you realize that by giving amnesty to illegal aliens you are in effect saying that the law of this country—your daily work—means nothing?

Somebody asked, quite innocently, that if after 5 years, an illegal immigrant is made a citizen, does that mean that if someone drives drunk for 5 years, he too is off the hook?
