Brown is promising deep spending cuts, including some in his own office. He has already announced the elimination of the state’s inspector general — an office created by Schwarzenegger — and said he would cut his staff by as much as 25% from their current levels.
O’course that’s not much of a “cut” since Schwarzenegger increased the office of Gubbernator by 500% employing 10+ “experts” [like Czars, only less uessful] at a neat $110,000/year each. Plus staffs. So Jerry’s gonna cut 2.5 of them? WhooPee.
He’s also proposing deeper tax hikes, so we got that going for us.
The Time of Schwarzenegger is over. I watched his gouvernship for eight years. I admit, that I was suprised as I heared, he will be gouvernour. In the german magazine “Der Spiegel” they spoke about his role as successor of the Kennedys and that he and his Schwarzenegger/kennedy empire will find ways to make him president or one of his kids.
