is there a Czar for that?
"It is important for our reform efforts to build on our traditions here in the United States. So when you hear the naysayers claim that I’m trying to bring about government-run health care, know this: They’re not telling the truth,” Obama said.

”...That would eliminate the small group insurance market. It’s premised on doing so. ...”

“Honest Debate"
Speaking of choices, how ‘bout the choice not to have insurance at all? There are a lot of people who, for some unaccountable reason, eat right, get lots of exercize, don’t go in for railroad-train bungee jumping &c, and just don’t need insurance. Maybe when they get “old and wrinkly” around 40 or so, they can think about it.
I still think the main reason it costs so much is because of lawyers like John Edwards, who sue at the drop of a hat.
Doctors are people, too (regardless of what they might tell you), and they do make mistakes. Fortunately for most of us, those are rare, and when mistakes happen, that’s when somebody has to step in.
If anybody thinks health care is expensive now, just wait till it’s free. And you can wait 3 or 4 years for an operation.
People with money will do as they’ve alwasy done: pay up front, go to Singapore, get first-rate treatment.
