Aaron the Liberal Slayer of the soon to be renamed Rantblog [though *I* like it just the way it is...] has been working to stop the Sillies at the ACLU et al from changing the perfectly good city seal of The City of Lost Angels. The moonbats want to get rid of the image of the Christian cross on the seal. [anyone checked to see if these folk 1] stay out of the sunlight 2] cannot see themselves in mirrors 3] sleep in coffins, wear capes and speak with hokey accents? Just a thought] That wouldn't bother me, although the history of the city does have its beginnings as a Catholic Mission. Seems to me that the image is balanced well by the image of Pomona, goddess of fruit and harvest. The seal could use a few more homages to the many other groups that have played important parts in building the city into what it is today. Aaron has his own ideas on how the seal ought to look.
