When they protest, they wear their hearts on their sleeves affiliations on their sponsors’ logos:

United For Peace and Justice -> People for the American Way -> headed by Leslie Cagan [CPUSA] & funded by Open Society Institute [*cough*Sorryass*cough*]

World Can’t Wait -> The Alliance for Global Justice -> Revolutionary Communist Party

International ANSWER -> [Party for Socialism and Liberation + Mexico Solidarity Network + Free Palestine Alliance + Middle East Children’s Alliance + Muslim Student Association of the U.S. & Canada + etc]

When we protest, we go to the stationery store and buy magic markers:

"They are the people who are funding what is supposed to look like a grassroots operation but is really an Astro-turf initiative on the part of those who liked the status quo bla bla bla twaddle poofle bla."

  1. The United for Peas and Just Ice folks have people like George Soros on their side, and can afford to print zillions of signs.  We like to make our own, and most of us don’t have to have the message tweeted to us by Community Organizers.

I do notice, on that blue sign, a significant absence of “Printed by Union Local 123”.  What this?? Are they anti-Union???

Mr Pitts’ article has a link “they highlighted plenty of anger”, but that article says “... a loud and amiable mishmash ...”

I still don’t know where the “anger” comes from.

I’m working on my own sign (just in case):

    HOPE?
    NOPE!

  2. The infantile econonomic vision of those currently in power will reduce the American economy to a stagnant mess of goo.  Just as it did under Jimmy Carter, inflation and double digit unemployment will be Obama’s legacy.  At least that should only last four years.  We will still have another several years to fix this mess.

And world peace?  Obama has extended the war on terror by one generation.  He has proven himself extremism’s best recruiter with the world apology tour and unwillingness to aggressively interrogate prisoners.

Hang on everyone ... this will get worse before it gets better.
