EATA 'nanimal for PETA Day

Gastronomical greetings on one of my favorite holidays -- Eat an Animal for PETA Day. In honor of this lovely day I am recommending a nutritious menu for the celebrations: Breakfast -- Bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich on thick, lightly toasted ciabatta bread. [Bacon and egg sandwiches are a favorite, too, but it is so dam summery here I'm going with the lighter fare] Lunch -- My favorite, Pig Snout Sandwich [aka Braunschweiger] The deli has some good choices but my childhood comfort food was Oscar Meyer. A little mayo, mustard, and red leaf lettuce and yummmmm. Also good on crackers! Dinner -- Light the BBQ cuz we're marinating a Tri-Tip! Browned butter and lemon juice, lotsa salt and fresh-ground pepper. 20 minutes in the ol' Webber [or under the broiler if you're still in Winter...] Add some mashed yams and steamed broccoli with a little of the browned butter on top and all that's needed is some deep, dark dirty chocolate brownies for dessert! Here's a thought to go along with your feast:

The late twentieth century Left fawns obsessively over animals because an animal has no intellect, is therefore incapable of challenging their ridiculous ideas, and can't say, "Leave me the hell alone and get a life, you dork!" Lucille G. Kropotkin

  2. I decided I should cover the bases…

Pork Chorizo and Eggs for Breakfast

    Fish & Chips for Lunch

Mongolian Beef/Sweet & Sour Pork/Combo Fried Rice (with Shrimp, chicken adn bbq pork mixed in)for dinner

If we weren’t supposed to eat them ,they wouldn’t be made out of meat…
