Dear John Burton;
It seems you've finally slipped your gears and taken up permanent residence out where the busses don't run. You are Senate President Pro Tem of a state whose economy is the equivalent of the 7th largest nation in the world. You represent upwards of 500,000 people in one of the most educated and affluent areas of California. Your district and your state are currently facing huge job losses, drowning in a quagmire of Monty Python-esque regulations and working very hard not to be dealt a death-blow by a $14 billion deficit brought on by penny-wise and pound-foolish overspending. Your response as a leader to these troubled times? Attempting to hold out the bright-and-shiny distraction by focusing people's attention on ducks. Not only are you attempting to distract from the important issues, but you are doing it in a way which is insulting to even the mostGo See him -- the man is on a roll!
