Condolences and Rage -- again
BAGHDAD : Islamist militants beheaded a South Korean hostage [Kim Sung-Il, 33], drawing international condemnation and a vow from Seoul to stand firm on its decision to send thousands of troops to the war-torn country.
And they've got some of the same *hic*-Kennedy-esque types we have. [Coincidence? You decide.]
In a statement [The Korean Network Against Dispatching Troops, , an umbrella organisation representing 365 Korean organisations] , the network stated "the Korean people are well aware of the fact that the US invaded Iraq for domination and oil, and not for the freedom and peace of the Iraqi people." "We also know that the US occupation of Iraq has denied the Iraqi people their sovereignty and that there have been widespread human rights abuses by US forces there, leading to Iraqi pain and loss of life."
St. Saddam, eh? Think they'll go Kim-Chee-eating surrender monkey on us?
God, I hope not. The last thing we need is for another country to go Spanish on us.
