Beautiful Bloggers !

The Watcher set an Herculean Challenge and you have achieved it!! I thank all the bloggers who helped out when I begged asked nicely for it. Y'all have warmed the cockles of my heart. [blush] AlphaPatriot describes a sea change in the wind world wide mentioning, among other things that a professor in Denmark is calling on the government to encourage the stupid not to reproduce as the population is, as a whole, growing dumber. Refreshingly un-PC. Sgt. Hook tells us what A Real Sergeant is like. We could sure use more like that around The Country™. . . Right on the Left Beach has an interesting take on why it is a Good Thing for McClintok to stay in the Recall™, explaining why Recallus Interruptus may be a problem. [shudder] The Ever Effervescent Kelley, good buddy indeed, gave me quite a boost with a mention in the Cul-de-sac -- the biggest linkfest in the blogosphere. Kelley grows philosophical as she considers the roads not taken. Watchers Council pal, The Smarter Cop proves the validity of his blog-title yet again by creating a Haiku Edition of his Link Compendium. Verra kewl! Master Yoder at The Accidental Jedi discovered that she is a Large Mammal! Much deserved, I'd say. Kate is having an "H" day, today. This Electric Venom Invention is most marvelous system for challenging linkage -- particularly for those of us who aren't up to Haiku. I'm Honored by the Help, Kate! The bestest thing about the Watcher's Challenge is learning about blogs who have introduced themselves to me. Arrgh!!! not only captured me with her blog title ["It's Just My State of Mind..."] but her writing grabbed my eye as well. She's not afraid to tackle topics not oft discussed and she does it well. I could Have Been A Contender is written by an English gentleman -- compleat with accent. Delightful! Humour, too. I have seen WichiDude's name in comment sections and have been intrigued. Turns out my instincts were right -- among other things, Wichi Dude has an ongoing Story Line inspired by happenings on other blogs. Good stuff. Dear David is writing fiction again ! ! ! He and Val Prieto at Babalu Blog will be posting the first Sudden Fiction: Short Stories by Bloggers on Halloween. I love a good short story -- it is the most difficult of the genres. Writers -- Go See . . . Fellow Bear Flagger Patterico is wondering whether or not to incorporate comments in his blog. I know this is something about which every blogger has definite opinions, so go help him decide. Another newer member of the Bear Flag League, BoiFromTroy recently celebrated his One Week Anniversary of blogging! Go Boi!! I think you've got the idea . . . Workaround Blog [he'll fix it in the next release . . .] sheds new light on Clark's campaign ideas. btw, I *love* catty, Jon. Brambleramble -- good photos, more, please. Please don't forget about Dean's contributions to Toys for Iraq and the contributions you could make, too. Well, I gotta say I don't know how Kelley and others do it. A linkfest is a lotta work but the blogs that I got to read along the way really did make the time and effort well worth my while. Check 'em out for yourself and see. Thanks, again to my supporters and, until the next time I screw the pooch, I'll see ya subsequently. [only someone who's *really* from The Country™ will recognize that tag line...]
