Mass drug overdose – none dead
No ill effects were reported by hundreds of volunteers who took part in a mass-overdose stunt around the world to demonstrate that homeopathic remedies are nothing more than sugar pills.
..."No one was cured of anything either,"
Health 2000 company chairperson Bob McDonald has labelled sceptics who staged a protest on homeopathic remedies as “ignorant and stupid”.
...[He] said homeopathic remedies, such as arnica cream and tablets and hayfever tablets, were popular with many customers.
“People aren’t buying them if they aren’t getting results,” Mr McDonald said.
Speaking of “ignorant and stupid”

Homeopathy is based on three central ideas: First, the Law of Similars: whatever causes your symptoms can also cure them. If you can’t sleep, try caffeine.
Second, the Law of Infinitesimals. When you dilute a cure in water, it gets stronger.
Third, the Law of Succussion, which states that each time you dilute your cure in water you are to tap the bottle to “potentize” it. Homeopaths believe this allows the water to retain the memory or vibration of the cure.
Medical Rule of Thirds: No matter what ya do, a third of your patients will get better, a third will get worse and a third will stay about the same.
...surely all of us who don’t take any homeopathic remedies are, in fact, overdosing; because if a lower concentration is more potent, then surely none is infinitely powerful...
