Many things to be careful of in Space… Jerry Doyle [an avowed space cadet] sold a story of a bit of confrontation on one mission when the Moslem in the back instructed the Captain to turn the orbiter toward Mecca so he could pray.... That went over well....
Silly me. I had always thought that religious restrictions were between the individual and his G-d, intended to impose difficulty on the individual so that, in following his restrictions, he became more aware of his faith and closer to his G-d.
