Anti-Democracy Election
Yep. that's it. Those nasty voters -- those people -- getting in the way of Democratic process. unh hunnn Yo! Leiberman -- Bite California. All of us. Heard via ABC News -- more later. It's now Later: ...er, I mean UPDATE:Gephardt joined in by saying, "This is an attack on the institutions of our government. That's what Republicans do."
Whose government? Not those awful peeeople, again.
"Kerry, who is angling for the governor's endorsement, heaped praise on Davis and said Republicans had launched the recall in an attempt 'to repeat the experience of Florida of stealing an election after the results are in.'"
Sorry-ass excuse for political acumen, Kerry. I don't think even the fuzziest headed Bush-bashers are still riding that tired old hobby horse. That little lack of facts problem gets in the way. Seems that no one bothered to write down Leiberman's quote. I'm tired of hearing this recall described as "buyers' remorse" on the part of CA voters. There were two untenable choices last election and this recall gives notice to the Republican party that they had better put up some reasonable candidates because voters will not just take it and shut up.
Of course, to those who think “democracy” means “whatever the Democratic Party supports,” the recall election does violate “democracy,” as does every other election that doesn’t go their way. Think I’m making that definition up? Think again.

and spare me the “thats what you are, what am I” childish dribble.CA has made their bed, Issa has orchestrated it and now has done a disservice to CA by not following through.
95 candidates, amongst them, a pornographer, a comedian, a over priced movie star, a former child actor, and many other boobs.
Unfortunately, CA will probably end up with a bigger Boob than they have right now.
